As a transactions lawyer, Pablo helps people navigate business risks so that they can enjoy the rewards of owning a business. He helps people protect their personal assets by assisting in the selection, formation and administration of a business entity. He helps negotiate business or real estate transactions to reach a fair deal and to make sure people understand the risks and rewards of those deals. He also helps ensure that the contracts people sign accurately reflect what was negotiated.
Pablo was born and raised in the Eugene/Springfield area. His parents were small business owners, and that experience has helped him understand the challenges and mentality of business owners. He attended the University of Puget Sound majoring in biology and chemistry. After college he worked in Eugene for several years in the laboratory of a local food production plant. He then decided to change directions and pursue a career that allowed him to interact with and help people on a more direct level.
Pablo started law school one week after his first daughter was born. He served as Operations Editor for the Journal of Environmental Law & Litigation and
as a teaching assistant/tutor for Negotiation, Federal Income Tax, and Civil Procedure. He graduated first in his class in 2007, and joined Hershner Hunter that year.
Pablo and his wife, Toña, have two daughters, Sahara and Lydia. They are avid organic gardeners and enjoy cooking and preserving the abundant bounty that Oregon gives them. Pablo has a particular fondness for good coffee, and hopes to begin brewing his own beer shortly. Pablo and Toña also enjoy swimming with their daughters, bicycling, and enjoying time with friends and family.
