He advises business clients on entity formation, contracts and other transactions, and helps businesses develop strategies for sales and acquisitions. Mark also enjoys working with clients on matters that involve evolving and emerging technologies, including intellectual property rights, issues unique to providing goods or services over the Internet, and keeping proprietary business information protected. Mark has a keen interest in unmanned aircraft systems (e.g. drones), which he has flown for over twenty years, and he is working to support their responsible and successful proliferation throughout Oregon.
Mark joined Hershner Hunter in 2015. His planning and transactional practice builds on his previous experience working for a local law firm. Mark is a 2011 graduate from the University of Oregon School of Law and a 2007 graduate from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Mark and his wife, Ali, live in Eugene and enjoy exploring Oregon, playing board games, and competing in league sports. In his free time, Mark also enjoys building computers and flying unmanned aircraft.
