Adam joined Hershner Hunter as an associate in 2009 after clerking with the firm in the summer of 2008.

Originally from Portland, Adam came to Eugene in 2003, drawn by the allure of Track Town and the University of Oregon. As an undergraduate, Adam earned top academic honors and won the Peterson Prize National Writing Competition, a constitutional law essay contest.  He also played in the Oregon Marching Band Drumline, worked as a Resident Assistant, and spent a summer backpacking through Western Europe.

After graduating, Adam became a “Double Duck,” enrolling at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he graduated fifth in his class. He also served on the Oregon Law Review managing board, editing volume 87 of the journal. His article, “Circumventing Fair Use: How the Digital Millennium Copyright Act Restricts Fair Use and What to Do About It,” was published in the final issue.

Adam, his wife, Tasha, and their daughter, Haley, live in Eugene where they enjoy watching Duck games, playing softball, and learning to garden. They are also avid hikers and love canoeing Oregon’s lesser-known waterways.
